Largely, public sector is a success story in India, in developing industrial infrastructure, economy and helped private sector to grow and establish. Today India’s public sector contributes nearly,
20% to the country’s GDP
6% of the total country employment, in organized sector
20 % of the Government tax revenue.
In spite of massive private sector growth, both in terms of volume and employ ability employment in public sector is still preferred choice. Primarily due to, job security, high pay packet, liberal allowances, and emoluments and added social respect tag.
