Pay Scale: Rs.5200 – Rs.202 00, with Rs.1900/- Grade pay and allowances
Mode of selection:
Selections are, based on PST Physical standard Test, PET Pyhsical endurance Test. PET test comprises of Running and Rope climbing etc.
Candidates who qualify in PST and PET only are, called for Objective Type Written Test.
Written Test comprises of GK, English language Test, Elementary Maths.etc.
Physical Standards:
Height: 165 cm for, general candidates, 160 cm for APST candidates, and 152 cm for, APST Tirang and chaplang tribes.
Chest: Minimum 79 cm, Expanded 84cm
Qualifications: pass in 10th standard.
Age Limit: 18 yrs – 25yrs
Method of submission
Application is to be, submitted on A4 size plain paper in the format given in the notification, which can be down load from the web site WWW.arunpol.nic.in, along with application fees of Rs.40 /-Treasury Challan, for general and Rs. 10/-Treasury Challan for APST candidates. Treasury Challan may be, drawn in favor of Director Fire & Emergency services, A/c 0070, Shillong.

Caste certificate from relevant competent authority for reservation claim
