West Bengal Health Department is inviting applications from the eligible candidates for the (746) posts of Staff nurse on temporary basis. Eligibility Criteria for WB Health Department :

Age limit for this post: Candidates age should not exceed 40 years of age as on 01-01-2013.

Educational limit for this post:

1.      The candidate should have completed GNM Training Course from an Institute recognized by Indian Nursing Council.

2.      The candidate should be permanent resident of West Bengal.

3.      Reading, Writing and Speaking in mandatory for this post.

Pay scale:

The Consolidated Remuneration is Rs.17220 per month.

Application fee and Submission Procedure:

Unreserved candidates need to pay Rs. 100/- and Reserved candidates (SC/ST/OBC-A & B /PWD) as an application fee. The amount has to be deposited in any National Bank in the form of Demand Draft. The DD has to be done in favour of West Bengal State Health & Family Welfare Samiti payable at Service Branch, Kolkata. The Demand Draft must be purchased on or after date of advertisement and should be sent to the Office of the Undersigned with in 14-01-2014 by Speed Post Only.

Selection procedure is based on the candidate’s merit starting from secondary school.

Candidates having such merit status will be called for original testimonial verification. After the verification, final selection list is made according to the category. The selected candidates will be appointed in any District of West Bengal.
