Eligibility Criteria for (NVS) Uttar Pradesh:
Age Limit for the posts:
Candidates must not exceed 40 years for PGT Post and also the age limit should not exceed 35 years for TGT Posts as on 31-01-2014. For all the SC/ ST Category candidates: 5 years, for the OBC Candidates: 3yrs, for the Women SC/ ST/ OBC candidates: 10yrs and for the NVS Employee: 5yrs.Age Relaxation as per government rules and regulations.

Education Qualification for the post:
Post Graduate Teachers: - The Candidates must have Two Year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. Course from Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate. (OR) Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate in required subjects.
Trained Graduate Teachers: - The Candidate must have Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate. (OR) A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from a recognized University with 50% marks or above in aggregate as well as in the concerned subject.
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected based on written test, and interview.
