AP EAMCET 2014 Notifications and EAMCET Online Application start on 20-02-2014:EAMCET (Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test) has released the EAMCET 2014 Notification and Online Application. This is the Common Entrance Test for Engineering, Medical, Agriculture and also the graduation courses like B.Pharm, Pharm-D, BHMS, BAMS, and BNYS etc.EAMCET is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University , Hyderabad . EAMCET is yearly once in the month of May. This year EAMCET will be held on 19-05-2014.
The EAMCET is a yearly examination taken by a large number of engineering and medical aspirants in Andhra Pradesh. Presently the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH) conducts the examination. This is the entrance exam for engineering ('E' category) and medicine ('AM' category: Agriculture and Medicine). The results are declared over 13 or 14 days every year making the counseling and admission process smooth. This exam is based on "Multiple choice Questions" type. From 2009 onwards 25% weight age is being given to 10+2 results. The rank will be based on 75% EAMCET marks and 25% intermediate marks (ICSE, CBSE or INTERMEDIATE). Education Requirement for EAMCET 2014
- The Students who have completed Intermediate/ the students who are still studying for the academic year are eligible.
- Candidates should belong to the State of
- Candidates must have completed 16 years of age as on December 31, 2014 to become eligible for this exam.
Exam Pattern for EAMCET 2014:
- The Exam Pattern of EAMCET 2014 will be based on three subjects namely Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics.
- EAMCET 2014 will be comprise of 160 questions in total from which 80 will be of Mathematics, 40 of Chemistry and last 40 of Physics.
- Each question will be of one mark.
- All these questions will be of objective type.
