2. Eligibility Criteria for Ministry of Shipping Latest Notification: 

a) Maximum and Minimum Age: 

The Candidates age should not exceed 50 years, as on the submission of last date of application.

 b) Education Requirement:

All the candidates must have Certificate of competency as a master of a foreign going ship recognized by the govt. of India with 5 years of service as Deck officer and also Extra Master certificate of competency or MSc degree in Maritime affairs or its equivalent from a recognized university, including the world maritime university Malmo, Sweden.
