About UP Board: Uttar Pradesh Board was established in the year 1921 by the act of United Provinces Legislative Council located at Allahabad. For the first time the examinations were conducted in the year 1923 . The 10th class and 12th class examinations are conducted every year by this UP board. The board is one in India which had adopted 10+2 system of examinations every year. Previously University of Allahabad was worked as conducting body of these two examinations. Later it is taken over by the UP Board. Now this Board has became the biggest examining body in the world .
It has head office at Allahabad and has four regional offices established at the following places:
Meerut in 1973
Varanasi in 1978
Bareilly I 1981
Allahabad in 1987
Main functions of Board:
The following are the functions performed by the UP Board
1) It grants the recognition to schools under UP.
2) It schedules courses and text books for High schools and Intermediate Instiutions in UP.
3) It will conduct the 10th Class and 12th Class examinations every year.
4) It will also provides equivalence on conducting examinations by other boards.
In UP some schools are governed by ICSE –Indian Council of School education and CBSE- Central Board of Secondary Education. There are 9121 number of secondary schools governed by UP board of High school and Intermediate education.
It is also responsible to declare the results every year .
Now for this year it will declare the 10th class annual exam results on 30th may 2015 and 12th class on 25th may 2015.

· The candidates are advised to visit the official website upresults.nic.in for X and XII class results.
· Click on the “ Results 2015 “ tab.
· Then enter the Roll number –Seven digits .
· Then click on “ Submit” button to view the result.
