West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination 2014: West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination is likely to conduct the Joint Entrance Examination for the academic year 2015 and this test is conducted by the WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board) for providing admission into various undergraduate courses in engineering / medical / technology / dental / veterinary and pharmacy in universities / colleges in the state of West Bengal and B. Age limit: applicant must be a citizen of India and their age should not less than 17 years and more than 24 years as of 31 December on the year of the examination.
Education qualification: student should have passed in the higher secondary (10+2) or its equivalent examination; in that exam candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in physics, chemistry and mathematics or biological sciences taken together for general category and 40% for SC/ST candidates and at least 30% marks in English (for all categories). Candidates must lock at least pass marks in the subjects separately including vernacular (or any other fifth subject) as mentioned below:
B.E/ B.Tech./B.Arch: physics, mathematics, chemistry, English and language or any other fifth subject.
M.B.B.S/B.D.S/B.V.Sc: physics, biological sciences, chemistry, English and language or any other fifth subject.
PHARMACY: Physics, chemistry, mathematics or biological sciences, English and language or any other fifth subject.
