Security and Minting Corporation was, formed after clubbing nine units to form SPMCIL in 2006. Previously these nine units are under ministry of finance.
SPMCL has four units presses Four Mints and one paper mill to meet the country’s requirement.
SPCML manufactures India’s currency notes, coins judicial stamp papers revenue stamps and other postal stationary etc.

For Supervisors, Rs12, 300 – Rs.25, 400,
For DTP Operators, Rs. 5, 200 – Rs.20, 200, with Rs.2000/- Grade Pay and Allowances.
For workmen, Rs.5, 200 – Rs.20, 200, with Rs.1800/- Grade Pay and Allowances.
Mode of Selection: Selection is, based on Objective type written test and Interview.
Eligibility Conditions for SPMCIL Recruitment 2013:
For supervisor, B.Tech, from recognized university
For DTP Operator, Graduation with 55% marks with typing speed of 40 words per minute.
For Workmen: Tenth, pass with ITI,
Age Limit: Up to 30yrs, for Supervisors.
Up to 28yrs for DTP operators.
Up to 25 yrs for workmen.
Age relaxation norms are applicable to eligible candidates
