Aadhaar Card is issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) for all Indian residents. It is 12-digit unique identification (UID) number. Every country wants their citizens identity to be unique which helps the Government to function its welfare programs well, the Aadhar card is also useful for fighting against Fraud and Spam. This 12-digit number will serve as a proof of identity and address, anywhere in India.

Government is speeding up the Process of giving the Aadhar card to every one, we want to go with our family to the nearest camp and Register ourselves, and we want to carry some Documents with us for a proof.

Purpose of AADHAR Card:

• We can use Aadhar card as your Official Identity card and it is used for all the services like opening a new account in bank or applying for the Driving License

And for other things also.

• Aadhaar number will help you provide access to services like banking, mobile phone connections and other Govt and Non-Govt services in due course.

Who must have a AADHAR Card:

• Any individual, irrespective of age and gender, who is a resident in India and satisfies the verification process laid down by the UIDAI, can enroll for Aadhaar.
• Each individual needs to enroll only once which is free of cost.

Documents required with Aadhaar:

1.      Proof of Identity  (PoI)

 2.   Proof of Address (PoA)

 3.  Date of Birth (DoB)

Please note that:

You CAN NOT apply for AADHAAR card online.

You can ONLY apply for an appointment date online, for select enrollment centers.

To apply AADHAAR card, with / without online appointment, you have to physically go to the AADHAAR card enrollment center.

Online appointment for AADHAAR card Enrollment has been started on a trial basis at selected Enrollment Centers.

Please note that not all AADHAAR card centers have online appointment facility.

If your locality is not listed in the online appointment application website, you will have to apply physically at any near by AADHAAR card center.

You can walk in to any nearby AADHAAR card center, without prior appointment to apply for AADHAAR card.
